Lake Norman

Lakefront houses take more weather than inland ones: more sun on the water-facing elevation, more wind, and more humidity moving through the structure year-round. Materials that are fine three miles inland do not always last here.

Exterior coatings on the lake side get washed, scraped, spot-primed, and coated in the right weather window, because a film that skins over instead of curing will not survive a full season of that exposure.

Inside, we moisture-test before flooring and spec finishes that handle seasonal swings. Outdoor stone and brick features, patios, and outdoor kitchens round out most of the lakefront work we take on.
